Galloway Lumber is a sawmill located 30 minutes east of Cranbrook at Galloway, BC. The mill employs 46 USW members and bargains with the USW as part of the IFLRA (Interior Forest Labour Relations Association). This mill has been in its present location in various forms since World War I. Currently operated by Bud and Jay Nelson, their father purchased the mill in 1945. It'll be one hundred years for the Galloway Mill in 2016.
